Google Speed Show

Filed under: Web Art II — Mia @ 12:38 pm

Our most recent Web Art II assignment was to prepare an Internet presentation for a Google Speed Show. The first stage of the Speed Show project was my discovery and research of Google Doodles. I’ve uploaded an InDesign project that integrates information from Google Doodles, Google Maps, Google Earth, Google Sky, Google Search, Google Videos, and Music Beta by Google to present an interactive flip book about John Lennon. The flip book refers to Google Guitar, a Google logo that honored Les Paul. The June 9, 2011 guitar doodle allows users to create their own tunes and save the urls to play again. For one of the flip book pages, I re-coded Google’s particle logo from September 6, 2010.

It will be interesting to see how each of our laptop presentations integrate into tomorrow’s show.
